In another move at tackling extremism, the Trump administration has laid out its latest travel restriction, causing a playful response by Dubai's iconic airline carrier.

It's official! The US Department of Homeland Security has enforced a ban on large carry-on electronic devices on flights into the country from 10 airports around the Middle East and Africa including Cairo, Istanbul, Kuwait, Doha, Amman, Casablanca, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The ban, which includes taking laptops and cameras onboard, is imposed only on direct flights into the US and while President Donald Trump rejects that his latest slew of travel restrictions is targeted at Muslims, the latest move strongly suggests otherwise.

Despite potentially being one of the most affected by the ban, Emirates airlines has taken a light-hearted response to the electronics ban, releasing a video titled "Let Us Entertain You". The short clip starts with the question: "Who needs tablets and laptops anyway" before cutting to brand ambassador Jennifer Aniston who highlights a host of entertainment options onboard an Emirates flight.
