The opening of The London Edition marks a new brand in hospitality, seeing Ian Schrager work in a partnership with Marriott International. It combines the "personal, intimate, individualised and unique lodging experience that Ian Schrager is known for, with the global reach, operational expertise and scale of Marriott." This delicate balancing act will encompass, for the very first time, not only great design and true innovation, but also great personal, friendly, modern service as well as outstanding, one-of-a-kind food, beverage and entertainment offerings... "all under one roof".
The fabulous looking hotel has 173 rooms, including suites and a penthouse, each designed by the Schrager team alongside architectural studio Yabu Pushelberg.
The Istanbul Edition has since opened, this year with global plans to include New York and Abu Dhabi in 2015.
