Airbnb just launched a once-in-a-lifetime stay at one of Paris' most famous monuments...

Last month, Airbnb revealed its most popular property globally and now, the travel company is launching a once-in-a-lifetime experience for some very lucky travellers.

It has partnered with the Louvre Paris to offer a one night stay for one winner and one guest. A specially constructured mini pyramid has been constructed in the museum's iconic glass pyramid to celebrate its 30th anniversary, decked out with cosy modern furniture for an unforgettable night's sleep.

In addition to the overnight stay, the winner and guest will be given a private bespoke tour of the museum by an art historian ahead of indulging in a themed beverage while the sound of French music plays in the background before eating dinner in a pop-up dining room in front of Venus of Milo. To round out the evening, Napoleon III's apartments will play host to a small concert. Speaking of the competition, the museum's Deputy Managing Director, Anne-Laure Béatrix said, "We know that many people would love the opportunity to wander alone at night through the Louvre and we want this to be a magical and unforgettable experience. With Airbnb's partnership, we hope to encourage more people to discover how truly accessible and inspiring the wonders of art can be."
