The luxury resort comes complete with a total of 89 suites, four over-the-water villas and 20 private pool suites that sit along the shimmering shores of the Andaman Sea. The dream-like setting seems beautifully isolated, however the island's main town, Kuah, is only a short drive away for those who want to explore the environment.

The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur are breaking a world record with their standard rooms running across 63 square metres.  With over 200 standards rooms, deluxe and premium rooms, each room comes complete with a walk-in closet, luggage space and a panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur.

Perfectly positioned in one the city's most prestigious neighborhoods, the hotel is also located near the city's historical landmarks including the Lake Gardens, the National Museum and the House of Parliament. 

Another signature of the city hotel is the Brasserie, a European-inspired cafe during the day, which later transforms into a contemporary French restaurant in the evening. Also be sure to book a table at Taka by Sushi Saito, the first restaurant in Malaysia for three-star Michelin Chef, Saito-san.
