Leaf-shaped windows and vertical gardens at the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel
Offering a natural feel to an urban environment
Located in the lively city of Barcelona, in Spain, is the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel – a contemporary structure that incorporates natural elements into an urban environment. The hotel boasts design features by award-winning architect Jean Nouvel, who worked with Spanish studio Ribas & Ribas to create leaf-shaped windows for the façade of its exterior.
Inside the building – which consists of two towers that stand at 110m tall each, on every floor guests will discover winding corridors lined with hanging plants, shrubs and trees from over five different continents. The garden vibe continues to the Renaissance hotel's rooftop, which is furnished with cabanas and a range of plants.
