Shangri-La Hotel opens its doors at London's Shard
The city's very first high-rise hotel
Located in one of the tallest buildings in Western Europe with each of its 202 guestrooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the new Shangri-La Hotel in London is the city's newest luxury accommodation.
Situated between the 34th and 52nd floors of Renzo Piano's building on the River Thames, the unique hotel offers stunning 360-degree views of London from each of its rooms.
Starting at $760 a night, guests will experience a one-of-a-kind stay, with bedrooms that feature body-contouring Shangri-La beds, marble bathrooms with heated floors, Acqua Di Parma toiletries and televisions that are integrated into mirrors.
GŎNG, the five-star hotel's restaurant is also opening on the 52nd floor where guests can "marvel at sparkling city views as the evening sky gently shifts colour."
