Mandarin Oriental Paris' 'Selfie' package
It's recently acquired a coveted 'Distinction Palace' award win, and now the Mandarin Oriental in Paris is delving into the competitive field of raising its social media profile with the launch of a bespoke package that offers a new way to experience the city and share memories.
The 'Selfie à Paris' package includes a night in the luxury hotel (in a deluxe room with breakfast), as well as a chauffeur and private car for a three-hour personalised trip around the French capital.
The hotel will also suggest the best 'selfie spots' in the city, from romantic views to classic Eiffel Tower shots and iconic galleries – and will share insider secrets to help you find the best backgrounds for your images. Guests also have the opportunity to upload their favourite shots to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google+ with #MOselfiecontest to enter a draw from October 1 – January 31, whereby each month, CEO Philippe Leboeuf will choose the best selfie for a chance to win another night's stay.
