The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage reopens its doors in Palm Springs
Contextual, contemporary luxury in Southern California
From a sun-drenched destination that has been home to former Presidents and members of the iconic Rat-Pack to an area that boasts the largest concentration of Mid-Century Modern architecture, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C. unveils one of the region's most anticipated openings in recent memory.
The resort showcases sweeping vistas from a 650-foot bluff in Rancho Mirage, California. A location that's only a two hour drive away from Los Angeles and San Diego. The desert spot is impressively enveloped by the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountain ranges over-looking Palm Springs and Coachella Valley.
"We are redefining the standard for luxury hospitality in this storied resort destination that is now home to dynamic events drawing a global audience, with a truly unique property in the heart of this Valley," stated Herve Humler, president and chief operating officer of The Ritz-Carlton.
The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage has been designed in homage to the Southern California open-air lifestyle, with panoramic views from its serene hilltop location and integrated water features that accompany the property's 244 spacious guest room.
One of the resort's main aspects is its two-story spa lifestyle complex which features a contemporary indoor/outdoor retreat with 15 opulent treatment rooms, a complete fitness centre, movement studios, private whirlpools, rain and Vichy showers.
Also on offer is the best in artisanal California menus and ingredients with its State Fare Kitchen.
Additional resort amenities include three swimming pools, a comprehensive Ritz Kids program and multi-room Ritz Kids centre, 15,000 square-feet of outdoor event space incorporating two lush, cliff-side lawns and guest access to premier courses and clubs in the Valley for golf enthusiasts.
The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage is now open.
