The London Marriott Hotel County Hall has officially re-opened! Located at Westminster's Bridge, the capital's new luxury destination is a tourist's dream; there's breathtaking views of the Big Ben, River Thames and the London Eye, and it's a stone's throw from other landmarks.
The hotel's historic building was formerly home to the London County Council for over 60 years and following the multi-million pound makeover, the hotel has integrated several design elements into the tasteful suites to pay tribute to the rich heritage of the structure. These include orange chairs in the style of the old council seating as well as unique wallpapers that depict maps of early London. Elsewhere around the hotel, tradition and history also take centrestage showcased by the vaulted ceilings, generous use of fine wood and the most chic mosaic tiles.
In terms of amenities, the hotel features the biggest hotel pool in London, measuring 25-metres, the exquisite Gillray's Steakhouse & Bar for your culinary cravings as as well as the Library Lounge to indulge in the quintessential English past time; afternoon tea.
