Banyan Tree to open first resort in Morocco
Luxury hotel group Banyan Tree, has just elevated the Moroccan coastline to a new luxury level with the introduction of the Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay resort. The resort consists of 92 luxury pool villas, each complete with a seaside view. To reach the new location, it's just a 20-minute drive from Tétouan in the north or a 90-minute drive to the 'Blue Town', an iconic city known for its distinctive blue and white buildings, which are against red roof tiles.
Offering the largest and first all-pool villa resort in Morocco, each villa is beautifully enriched with traditional architecture and interior design. Ranging from 200 to 423 square metres, visitors have the option to choose either direct beach access, or a villa complimented by a private garden and pool.
For those seeking a luxury dining experience, Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay offers four gastronomic options, think a relaxed dinner by the beach, a traditional Moroccan feast in a tent and Saffron, the signature Banyan Tree Thai restaurant. Otherwise indulge with the 24-hour-in-villa dining concept, which offers guests delicious culinary options including Moroccan delicacies and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
Another highlight of the hotel includes a dedicated spa, which features six deluxe treatment rooms, two royal treatment rooms, a Hydro spa and a vitality pool, hammam and a yoga studio. Other highlights also include a gym, tennis court and a variety of water sport activities.
