WWD launch digital global stock tracker

Stacking up style

In the fast paced world of fashion – and of course finance – it can be hard to tell at any given moment what is up, down making money and losing it... Cue WWD and the Global Stock Tracker

Women's Wear Daily (WWD) is helping readers, fashion and finance followers to cut through the noise with its new Global Stock Tracker, a "stock benchmark for the fashion industry that reflects its geographical breadth and product category depth."

In the past it's been a difficult game to keep up with, seeing as Prada SpA might trade in Hong Kong dollars, while LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton is quoted in euros and Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. in dollars etc, however each sharing the same global marketplace.

The Tracker follows 100 of the most important fashion, retail, luxury and beauty stocks around the world, as chosen by WWD editors. It is based on market capitalisation and updated each day at 4:45 p.m. EST.
