To celebrate annual World Emoji Day, Unicode Consortium – the company that approves all emoji applications – has just announced the introduction of a new range of female-inspired emojis. Adding more diverse options for any keypad-user, this newest addition sees 11 representations of women with professions including mechanics, computer programmers, chefs, scientists, farmers, rockstars, doctors, graduates and professors. The latest addition to the emoji keyboard will be released with updated versions of Android and other Google platforms.
