Your Art, the museum app launched by the National Gallery of Art in Washington, is one of the first of its kind. Allowing users to experience some of the worlds most fascinating art and artists right from their smartphone.  A library of works by artists Leonardo Di Vinci, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Degas and Monet, to name a few, are all accessible by the tap of your smartphone screen with the National Gallery's new digital concept.

The app features a virtual tour of the museum with short audio commentaries by curators, conservators, and Director Earl Powell available in English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Russian. It also contains relevant, and constantly updated information on the latest exhibitions taking place at the gallery as well as the opening hours and a detailed map.

Not a smartphone user? Borrow one of the 20 iPod Touches from the west building audio tour desk that are all equipped with the new app – which is available on iTunes and Google Play as a free download.
