Natalia Vodianova's Elbi expansion announced
App discussed at Web Summit
Natalia Vodianova: She's a model, muse and entreprenuer and now the 'supernova' has announced she's moving her charitable mobile application, Elbi into new waters. The app, which was recently launched in the UK and the US, is now available in Ireland.
The announcement was made during this week's Web Summit, the largest event of its kind with over 40,000 participants coming together from around the world to discuss the future of the tech trade.
Vodianova's app is designed to allow anyone (and soon to be anywhere) to make a donation to a charity at the click of a button. "It brings the power of social and digital worlds to charities," she confirmed.
"Giving can seem so inaccessible to the general public," said Vodianova during the event. "There are so many ways to give," and Elbi allows users to make "a micro donation; we can all do this once a week," she continued.
Natalia is spreading the word worldwide about her philanthropic app having also made an appearance at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City, this September.
Elbi is available for download from the Apple iTunes store.
