Lena Dunham's 'Girls' utilising Snapchat to promote new season
Revealing a dedicated channel on the app for the HBO series
Snapchat is one of the most popular photo and video sharing apps to date along with instagram and tumblr but we are yet to see it being utilised for marketing purposes. Step up HBO's 'Girls' - the show's official Twitter handle tweeted its Snapchat username, saying: "This season, we're living snappily whatever after."
The snapchats so far have included a series of emoticons referring to a plot from the second season. The idea was inspired by Fox's recent use of dating app Tinder to promote Mindy Kaling's 'The Mindy Project'
