Google launches Android TV
In addition to Chromecast
This specialised variety of Google's original OS will allow users to control the system through methods including smartwatches, game controllers, tablets and smartphones. It will also link Android devices to the system, displaying all the games, applications and images that are already present on the other electronic platforms.
Initially, the Internet service provider had created Google TV back in 2010, but the software flopped in the market, as they weren't able to generate enough attraction to their product. They also created Chromecast last year, which gave users the chance to connect their smartphones directly to their television displays.
This time however, Google is teaming with electronic giants like Sony, TP Vision and Sharp, in order to have a better grasp within the home entertainment industry. The companies plan to integrate the Android TV services into their monitors for their 2015 lineups.
