Google has purchased robotic company Boston Dynamics – leaving everyone curious as to what they will do with their newest venture

Last week Buro 24/7, reported Amazon's ambitious plan to introduce the delivery of their products using drones. Well Amazon isn't the only one with robotics on their mind. Google has just reportedly purchased Boston Dynamics. The engineering company develops animal like machines and is most successfully known for its "cheetah" - the world's fastest running robot. Run by former Android Inc. CEO, Andy Rubin, Boston Dynamics is very under the radar does not sell their products commercially - they previously supplied their robots to the US military. Information on the terms of the sale has yet to be disclosed.
