The world's first flexible smartphone by LG available next month
The twist and turns of the G Flex
The latest smartphone from South Korean company LG uses flexible OLED screen technology to give the dramatic curve of the new 'G Flex'. The new smartphone is between 7.9 and 8.7mm thick at various points and weighs 177g, has a 6-inch 720p display screen as well as a 13-megapixel camera.
LG have also provided the G Flex with "self-healing" technology - involving a special protective film on the back cover, which is designed to eliminate any scratches on the phone within minutes.
The device will be available in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Austria next month. Until now the G Flex has only been available in Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore. Further countries are expected to be added soon, including the Middle East.
