'Condé Nast Traveler' magazine has recently created 'The Gold List', a new app that highlights the best hotel and resort properties, cruise lines, and restaurants around the world

The new app follows the British magazine's new editorial direction under Pilar Guzmán – who was named Editor-in-Chief in September, with her first issue debuting in March.

The app corresponds with the magazine's new platform and the launch of Traveler's new website in August. The app features addresses that are linked to Google Maps, and  a 'tap the screen to call' option.

There are links to tools that enable users to create their own slide shows, inspiration boards and photo streams. The unique listings are filtered by continent, new hotels, resorts and cruise lines, which will be uploaded "pretty instantly," said Dana DeVito, Executive Director of Creative Services, adding, "We're planning a quarterly refresh."

There's even a menu full of social media options where users can share their photo streams publicly with all other app users. 'The Gold List' also offers the opinions of five global tastemakers including fashion stylist Ann Caruso, art collector and gallery owner Blair Voltz Clarke, hotelier Jeff Klein, artist Natasha Law, and fashion photographer Stewart Shining. Chef Dan Barber will also shortly be joining the 'VIT' - 'Very Important Travellers' list.
