Carolina Herrera taps into the mobile world with new style App

On Thursday, Carolina Herrera will begin to test Herrera Style, an exclusive new app that will help connect sales associates with their shoppers, with the app set to officially launch later this month.
However, the app is not available for anyone to use, consumers must be invited to download the private service, and once the app is downloaded, sales associates in Carolina Herrera boutiques can use it to interact with the clients. The app will allow sales associates to share images of new looks, invite them to trunk shows and other events, as well as communicating to customers one-on-one.
Herrera Style is tailored specially for each client and targets Carolina Herrera's top and VIP customers. "We know that the sales associates are communicating with their customers on mobile devices," said Caroline Brown, president of Carolina Herrera. "It's a given with how they do business now."
