Apple Watch said to have a power reserve mode
According to The New York Times, Apple's highly-anticipated wearable – the Apple Watch – will feature a pioneering "Power Reserve" mode, which enable it to have a longer battery life. The function will allow users to display the time and nothing else in a low-energy mode.
Battery life is a huge issue for manufacturers, especially with a device that has a plethora of battery-draining features like the Apple Watch. At present, reports suggest that the Apple Watch would work like an iPhone, and have to be charged overnight if the user were to wear it daily.
Further details about the Apple Watch are expected to be revealed at a special event on March 9.
