The California-based firm is boosting the screen sizes on its most popular gadgets, with the largest-ever iPad going into production early next year.
Apple will begin making a new iPad with a 12.9-inch screen in the first quarter of 2015, making it the biggest product in the range. Apple's current iPad Air has a 9.7-inch display while the iPad Mini has 7.85-inch screen.
New versions of the iPad mini and an updated version of the 9.7-inch iPad will also be released in time for Christmas, according to the reports.
Additionally, Apple is planning to increase the screen size of its iPhone, increasing the display on the iPhone 5 to 4-inches, which is up from 3.5-inches on the previous model. The iPhone 6 is also expected to increase to 5.5-inches – which the tech company is expected to unveil at an event on September 9.
