Apple releases new dragon animoji and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke is thrilled
Mother of dragons
With the release of its new iPhone X late last year, Apple introduced brand new animojis that allowed users to bring emojis to life via a series of facial recognition techniques. Now, the brand has just announced that it is adding four more animojis to its line-up, one of which is bringing Game of Thrones fans great joy.
Perhaps no-one is more excited about the introduction of the new dragon character than Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke. As the mother of dragons, she's the one person in the world most qualified to use the animoji and as such, was given early access to the new character ahead of its release this spring in the new iOS 11.3 update.
Emilia shared a hilarious video with her 15.9 million followers of her voicing the dragon and the video already has over 2.7 million views in less than a day.

So. A lovely man named Sam came round the other day. Sam’s second name seemed to be ‘Apple’ funny I thought, till I saw that Sam had brought me a gift. THIS ANAMOJI! ITS A DRAGON! WE CAN ALL BE TALKING DRAGONS! oh the joys. The freaky weird face recognising joys of modern technology. I do hope Sam Apple comes round again with more treats. I’m seeing a older brother Animoji in our future...? The pranks alone would be enough to render my job as little sister done. #doitasadragon #apple #animoji #newyearwhodis #
