Apple accidentally leaks two new iPads ahead of launch event

Unripe tech

Unusual screenshots have appeared in the iTunes store showing Apple’s two new devices – both featuring a Touch ID fingerprint scanner

On Wednesday, in a rare blunder, Apple accidentally posted screenshots of its upcoming iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini3 in the iTunes store ahead of the official press event tonight.  The images were from an official user guide for iOS 8 and featured both models with a new TouchID fingerprint scanning function for the home button and 'Burst Mode' for the camera, however aesthetically the two iPads appear identical to Apple's previous models.

As for the new technology of the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3, we will have to wait for the official announcement for its upgrades and performance news. The California tech giant is also expected to unveil new Macs and further discuss the upcoming OS X Yosemite operating system at its Thursday event.
