Amal and George Clooney have launched a very powerful app

Fighting Human Rights Abuses
The Clooney's have put their great minds together for a noble app...

George and Amal Clooney are one helluva power couple. Between Amal’s political, human rights and legal background and George’s humanitarian efforts and mission leader, the two could literally save the world if they wanted to.

And now, they are one step closer to doing just that. The couple already got The Clooney Foundation for Justice under their belt and now, they’ve launched an app called TrialWatch (in partnership with Microsoft) which will collect data measuring miscarriages of justice around the world. The app will help advance human rights, in the courtroom.

Amal noted that this move is “a global initiative to monitor trials, expose abuses, and advocate for victims, so that injustice can be addressed, one case at a time.”

The Clooney Foundation for Justice also chimed in stating, “TrialWatch aims to be the first comprehensive global program scrutinizing criminal trials. The focus will be on trials involving journalists, LGBTQ persons, women and girls, religious minorities, and human rights defenders.”

Here’s to the couple making the world a better place…
