What you need to know about Nike's new NRC+ app
Ready, Set, Go
If you're a Nike+ Run Club app aficionado (here's looking at Buro 24/7 Middle East's EiC) you would have noticed a dramatic change to the feed this morning. Over night, the sporting giant plugged in a new update, which sees new features added and a few retired to the bleachers — yes, the 'challenges' feature no longer exists. However users can now opt to run routines with friends, which is trackable using their own #hashtag, or discover #motivation by following the trails of others around the world. Other features which have been rolled out include three training programs — Get Started, Get More Fit and Get Race Ready — which are held by experienced coaches, as well as the Ready, Set, Go running session, which has been designed by Nike Pacers and NRC Head Coaches.
The Nike+ Run Club app is available to download now from the iTunes store, along with the Nike + Training app, which just released a new workout by Qatari high-jumper Mutaz Barshim.
