Bill Gates loses chess game to 23-year-old Magnus Carlsen
It took around 1 minute and 20 seconds for Magnus Carlsen, the 23 year old world chess champion to beat Microsoft founder Bill Gates in a speedy game of chess. The game was filmed by Norwegian talk show Scavlan, to be aired this week in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
It only took 9 moves for Carlsen to checkmate his component, when asked by Skavlan under what circumstances he felt intellectually inadequate, Gates said: "When I play chess with him (Carlsen)".
Carlsen, has been a grandmaster since he was 13, after receiving non-stop television coverage in Norway when he beat defending champion Viswanathan Anand of India, last November.
