The 2015 Super Bowl with John Legend, Katy Perry, Gisele Bündchen and more
The USA's biggest sporting event
In Phoenix on February 1, Quarterback Tom Brady led his team to beat Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks 28 to 24 in a remarkable comeback effort, which will go down in football history.
"We never doubted each other. That's what it took. That was a great football team we beat. I'm just so happy for our team," Brady said while holding the Vince Lombardi trophy, as he celebrated with supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen and their son. "I want to thank my family and all my friends who supported me. All my teammates. I love you guys. This is for you guys."
Aside from the main sporting attraction, several new film trailers and special Super Bowl commercials were released throughout the 4-hour sporting event, from Furious 7 and Kingsman: The Secret Service to a myriad of advertisements that starred Liam Neeson and Bryan Cranston, a.k.a. Breaking Bad's Walter White.
However, the biggest performance of the evening was by Katy Perry during her 12-minute half-time show, which without a doubt got millions of viewers dancing and singing around their living rooms. Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott also joined in on the halftime fun, while John Legend was entrusted to sing America the Beautiful and Idina Menzel belted out a beautiful rendition of the national anthem ahead of the big game.
