Venice Simplon-Orient-Express launches new European route
The 'Berlin' journey
Travel is getting its vintage glamour back with the introduction of a new route on the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. The 'Berlin' route will take leisurely travellers from London to Berlin with a stop in Paris en-route.
The enchanting journey will allow passengers to indulge in the on-board elegance of the 1920s with stunning art-deco interiors. The luxurious carriages are decked out in decorative wooden marquetry and ornate furnishings. As the journey meanders through the beautiful landscapes of the French and German countryside, guests can enjoy another journey, of the gastronomic variety, with three and four course meals being served in the dining car. The private sleeper cabins are attend by a private steward who will take care of all guest needs.
Prices for a return journey from Berlin to Paris or London start from £2,210 per person and include all meals served on board. The inaugural journey will begin from London to Berlin via Paris on June 2, 2016.
