1. Land of the Giants Resort
Dubai is already home to the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, so why not take the idea to the extreme and continue the theme of giant surrounds in an entirely dedicated theme park. The Honey I Shrunk the Kids, style experience would see oversized rooms, buildings and objects, dwarf its comparatively tiny visitors.
2. Tiffany & Co Hotel
If breakfast at Tiffany's is your ultimate dream, you could find yourself waking up in a Tiffany & Co. hotel. Similar concepts from the likes of Swarovski and it's Sparkles Tower in Dubai as well as international Bulgari resorts, have proven to be hugely successful. Touches of Tiffany blue for the interiors would complete the experience.
3. Google Park
What fun could a Google theme park cook up? The ideas are endless, experience the vibe of the famous google campus and join in puzzling challenges like a traditional maze that you must 'search' your way out of.
A fitness skewed Nike resort would be right up the street of the wellness involved population of Dubai. Find all of your favourite Nike equipment, renowned classes and trainers and a store to stock up the latest Nike gear all under one roof. And let the in-house nutritional team cook up delicious and nutritious meals during your stay.
5. Wimbledon Resort
Tennis’ popularity is on the rise in Dubai with some of the biggest names in the sport competing in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship every year. So why not bring the most prestigious club in the sport, with all of its charm and tradition, to Dubai for fans to enjoy? Go one better than centre seats, and get a centre court bed, overlook an immaculate grass lawn, and for an extra touch, indulge in a delicious helping of strawberries and cream.
6. Chanel Hotel
Coco Chanel took up residence in the Hotel Ritz Paris, and there is a now a suite named after her, so why not an entire hotel? Can you imagine the exquisite design and luxury within a Chanel hotel? Monochrome classic elegance, camellia motifs, and on site boutique. And the bath and beauty products would be sublime…
7. Dubai Entertainment City
A theme park based around your favourite TV shows, featuring the familiar hang outs of all of your favourite characters, order a New York coffee and a muffin from Central Perk with your friends or visit the Rovers for a pint of northern charm.
8. Twitter Cafe
You couldn’t get anymore connected than a Twitter Cafe, its like the next generation Internet cafe for the social media age. Enjoy light bites and a coffee whilst seeing global and local trending tweets streamed all around you. What a cool idea.
9. A380 Hotel
As the home of the world’s busiest airport and an airline that was one of the first adopters of the super-jumbo A380, it seems only right that Dubai be the first city to see the impressive jet become a permanent fixture on the ground, as a luxury and very unique hotel. First class for all ‘passengers’.
10. Warner Brothers Theme Park Resort
With other big studios already on the theme park trail, Warner Brothers would do well to catch up with the hugely successful parks from Universal, Disney and Paramount. Bugs Bunny and friends, and Scooby Doo, to name a few, are some of the cartoon favourites you could be rubbing shoulders with, and sooner than you think, as plans are underway already for this park to become a reality in Abu Dhabi.
