Donald Trump launches luxury hotel in Azerbaijan capital
From New York to Baku
Set to offer spectacular views of the Azerbaijani city, overlooking the deep blue waters of the Caspian Sea, the new Trump hotel is planned to open in June 2015, and hold 189 hotel rooms and 72 ultra luxury residences.
"This incredible building reflects the highest level of luxury and refinement, with extraordinary architecture inspired by the Caspian Sea and sophisticated interiors that seamlessly blend contemporary style with timeless appeal," said Ivanka Trump, who visited the Baku building site last week.
The hotel will stand 33-storeys high, surrounded by gardens, fountains and promenades, with the eye-catching façade of the building created to resemble the mast of a ship.
Tower Baku's unique design combines classic and contemporary elements, with the hotel's style aimed more towards the modernity of the historic city. The 72 residential suites will be available on a long-term lease basis, ranging from about 900 to 9500 square feet, while the hotel will boast a luxury spa with multiple pools, a 500 square-metre ballroom, 147 square metres of retail, and a yet-to-be-announced famous signature restaurant.
