Photographers in London create the most crowdsourced timelapse of all time

An innovative homage to the British city

This month, over 350,000 photographs were put together from 80 different clips as part of an incredible crowdsourcing project that is now the capital’s largest ever time-lapse video

Bringing together London's biggest photography enthusiasts, 'Lapse London' is a new timelapse video which explores every part of the British capital. With over 13 million people living in the city, London is one of the most populous cities in the world, making 'Lapse London' create a refreshing and unique view of the city.

The creators of the video – timelapse photography equipment company Triggertrap – had to combine 80 different clips by fusing together over 350,000 different photographs shot in the space of nearly 40 hours. The stunning video provides a look at some of London's most iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the Thames Barrier.
