Revealed: Plans for Sweden Island on Dubai World Islands

In The Heart of Europe

Designs for ten villas to be built on Sweden Island as part of The Heart of Europe on The World Islands have been released. Buro 24/7 brings you the first look...

It has been announced that phase two of the development of The Heart of Europe (THOE) on The World Islands, has picked up pace. The Heart of Europe constitutes six of the man-made islands, and each island represents a different component of the diverse identities of Europe. Sweden Island is one of the six and plans for construction have just been released by the developers, Kleindienst Group.

Ten villas are set to occupy Sweden Island, with each villa comprising seven bedrooms spread across four floors, all with a gym, spa, entertainment space, private beach access, private pool and its own sauna room.

In an effort to represent the rich cultural history of Sweden, the villas have been designed to resemble the iconic seafaring viking ships, that played a key role in Swedish history. There will also be a modern Swedish treasure on the island in the form of an authentic floating restaurant modelled on the famous Solihull Market in Stockholm, which is sure to bring the best Smörgåsbord to Dubai.

Josef Kleindienst, CEO of Kleindienst Group, said: “We are extremely excited to announce phase two of The Heart of Europe and share details about Sweden Island. The island will not only be home to the finest Swedish architecture and design, but it will bring the best of Swedish culture and lifestyle to Dubai.”

When completed The Heart of Europe is set to be one of the most unique holiday destinations in the world not just on The World Islands.
