Starbucks x Alice + Olivia
A collaboration with a caramel macchiato colour code...
Adding to the cohort of designers to collaborate with coffee giant Starbucks, Stacey Bendet of Alice + Olivia joins Charlotte Ronson, Christian Siriano, Rodarte and John Adler. Bendet was recommended by none other than Steven Kolb, executive director of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) for the gig.
Keeping to the a caramel macchiato colour code, Bendet has created a charming ceramic thermo mug in black and white stripes, 'dressed' in a formal look. A bow tie and gold buttons complements the black organza ballerina tutu, too.
Being a mother too, Bendet hasn't left out the little ones, coming up with an elegant teddy bear design for children - the 'Bearista Bear'...
The pieces go on sale this weekend throughout Canada, and will appear in U.S. coffee shops by November 12. Better still, they are available online now: www.starbucksstore.com
