A restaurant in Singapore is using drones for waiters
A new delivery system for dinner has launched at Timbre @ Substation restaurant in Singapore. The lively restaurant has deployed drones to deliver food and beverage orders to its customers. This isn't another case of technology out-playing real humans, the drones and the restaurant staff work together to share the load, and the waiters are now more available to attended to their hosting responsibilities, while the drones keep the orders flowing, or should we say, flying.
This is by no means the first attempt to introduce such a system. Several restaurants in America have already tried, and failed to streamline a drones waiting fleet, with safety issues being the main cause of failure.
