A new game debuts following the recent Monet masterpiece damage scandal

'Punch a Monet' and stay out of jail...

In a bizarre move, a game has been designed online that offers you the chance to simulate the infamous punch inflicted on the Monet masterpiece

Following the news that the perpetrator of the violent assault on a Claude Monet masterpiece, back in 2012 at the National Gallery Ireland, has been sentenced to 5 years of jail time, we bring you the news that a new game has been released to simulate the attack – without the threat of an arrest.

The Monet painting that sustained a hefty right hook to the top corner has since been diligently restored to its former glory, and with the man responsible for the bizarre out burst safely behind bars, a game developer has launched ‘Punch a Monet’.

The game sees an extended fist ready for impact from a first person point of view. Using the mouse pad, the player can take their aim and punch the digital replica of Monet’s Argenteuil Basin with a Single Sailboat.
