Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make their final Instagram post

Days before they prepare to exit royal life
The duo have bid adieu to their Instagram account and gave us insight on how the couple will navigate their new lives away from the royal family...

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been circulating the news headlines this month following their final appearances as senior royals during their 5-day return to the UK (they were spotted at the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey, too), as well as having recently relocated to Los Angeles from Canada.

Now, they’ve dominated the headlines again as they’ve officially said goodbye to their Sussex Royal Instagram account.

Overnight, the pair have posted what appears to be their final post as they prepare to officially step down from their royal duties tomorrow (April 1).

Harry and Meghan posted a lengthy caption thanking their community, as well as referencing the COVID-19 pandemic. “As we can all feel, the world at this moment seems extraordinarily fragile. Yet we are confident that every human being has the potential and opportunity to make a difference-as seen now across the globe, in our families, our communities and those on the front line-together we can lift each other up to realise the fullness of that promise.”

The duo also addresses a global shift, changing of habits and are assessing ways they’ll be able to continue to contribute. “What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic. As we all find the part we are to play in this global shift and changing of habits, we are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute.”

The pair have also agreed to stop using the name Sussex Royal for charity work, online and on social media.

Stay tuned as we find out what their next steps will consist of.
