Meghan Markle’s maternity leave is ending soon and we know the details of her first event

She's back!
It looks like Meghan Markle's is coming back to the royal event's circuit pretty soon and her first event is fashion-related...

Over the course of Meghan Markle’s maternity leave, she managed to surprise us every now and then with appearances at Wimbledon (not once, but twice), at Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire (with baby Archie in her arms), at London Series and of course, made time for date night with Prince Harry as the couple attended The Lion King premiere.

And whilst she wasn’t exactly off of the royal event circuit, it seems like she’s officially making a comeback next week.

The Palace confirmed the news of the Duchess of Sussex’s upcoming event and it’s fashion-related.

Set to take place on September 12, the first post-maternity leave event will be focused on her capsule collection with Smart Works and UK retailer Jigsaw.

According to Emily Andrews, The Sun‘s reporter, the former Suits actress will “launch her new clothes line, in collaboration with Jigsaw, John Lewis and Partners, Marks and Spencer & pal Misha Nonoo, next Thursday 12 Sept to support her patronage SmartWorks. Very excited to see what she’s picked for her capsule working wardrobe! It’s Meghan’s official return to work from maternity leave after having baby Archie, but in reality she hasn’t really stopped.”

Also, it looks like we’ll hear a speech from the Duchess at the event. “Meghan will make a short speech before watching a panel discussion with SmartWorks reps, two of its clients & Patron,” Andrews announced on Twitter. “She’ll then meet Smart Works and brand representatives who will talk through the SW journey every client undergoes—including wardrobe and interview.”

Looks like we won’t have to wait much longer to see Meghan back in full action with her ‘Markle Sparkle’.
