Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially split from Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Royal Foundation

It's like the end of an era...
The fab four are officially parting ways as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will establish their own charitable group...

Last year marked a momentous occasion for the British royal family as the future of the monarchy (a.k.a the fab four) took the stage together to talk about the work of The Royal Foundation.

However, plenty has changed in a year.

The Royal Foundation — the charitable group initially set up by Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton — is to officially divide.

Whilst Meghan Markle automatically became a patron following her wedding to Prince Harry, news has emerged that the new parents will establish their own new charitable foundation.

According to the Press Association report, the Royal Foundation has confirmed that Duke and Duchess of Sussex are formally set to split from the charity, whilst Prince William and Kate Middleton will continue to use the Royal Foundation as their ‘principal charitable and philanthropic vehicle’.

So when will we be seeing the four of them together again? It’ll most probably be sooner than later as the christening of Meghan and Harry’s baby boy, Archie, is set to take place in July.

We’ll be keeping our eyes out for that…
