London tube stations to display FIFA World Cup scores

Fast-paced football news

ESPNFC has recently announced a new deal with Transport for London (TFL) to bring commuters live scores from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil

Travellers without signal at London underground stations need not to worry about missing any FIFA news, as they will be updated on the score of the World Cup matches this summer — all thanks to TFL and ESPNFC's £100,000 project.

Delivering football updates, news, results and scores, the information will be displayed at more than 140 stations across England's capital. The helpful service on the Tube will start on June 12, when Brazil takes on Croatia, and will continue until July 14, the day after the final.

The entire Central line, Northern line, Bakerloo line and Jubilee line will be covered with fans being able to stay up to date during rush hour and on their way home in the late evening.
