A partnership between Hearst and Marka PJSC, the Harper's Bazaar Café is said to be launching in the region late next year

Banking on the success of recent launches in the UAE that have seen homegrown names to the likes of Roberto Cavalli launch café concepts in the county, the Harper's Bazaar global brand is to become part of the pack with an eatery in the United Arab Emirates, set to open in November next year at a yet-to-be disclosed location. It joins the title Harper's Bazaar Arabia, which launched in the GCC seven years ago.

Hearst Magazines International is partnering with Marka PJSC, a Dubai-based retail operator focusing on acquisitions, franchise agreements and retail concepts in the UAE.

It also follows Condé Nast International, which launched Vogue-branded cafés in recent years, which are now located in Moscow, Kiev and at Level Shoe District in The Dubai Mall, plus a new 'Vogue Lounge' in Bangkok which is said to appear "soon."
