Anna Freud daughter of Sigmund Freud is honoured with a Google doodle

As the daughter of Sigmund Freud, Anna took up the 'family business' of psychoanalysis and became an authority in her own right in the field child psychology. Born in 1895 in Vienna, Austria where the Freud family hail from, she joined 5 older siblings and became the baby of the family. At the young age of thirteen Anna was already attracted her father's work and soon became engrossed in his studies and research. Freud became a member of the Vienna Psychoanalytical Society in 1922 and became a director in 1935 of the Vienna Psychoanalytical Training Institute.
