The FBI puts blame on North Korea for Sony hacks
Media hack attack
The FBI has said it's determined that the North Korean government is responsible for the troubling recent hack attack against Sony Pictures Entertainment, which most famously led to the release of the upcoming film The Interview being cancelled.
In a statement released on Friday, the FBI said that its investigation – along with information shared by Sony and other U.S. government departments and agencies – found that North Korea was responsible.
Other reports have also stated that there could be a potential link to China in the hack, as Chinese servers might have been used. However, North Korea has denied any involvement.
