Eric Clapton's 1950's Pre-Daytona Rolex to be auctioned
Let the bidding begin
The timepiece has a 6034 reference, and fits into the exceptional 'Pre-Daytona' classification. Decorated in 18k rose gold, the watch is a pleasant far cry from the brand's standard yellow gold and steel designs.
The Swiss-made chronograph watch is in an exceptional state, featuring a manual wind movement with a 72 R calibre, with gold hands and a silver dial. It has dimensions of 35 mm in diameter, and 12 mm in height with a 20 cm strap.
The fully functional vintage watch will be sold via the online auction house Auctionata at a starting bid of €50,000 EUR ($68,000) with an approximate value of €100,000 EUR ($136,000), and with the Guitar legend's association, there's no doubt that there will be added value to an already high caliber acquisition.
