Dubai's Jumeirah Group signs deal to open Mauritius hotel

The luxury hotel chain heads to the island nation

Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel operator, has recently signed a management agreement to open a new luxury resort in Mauritius

Known for its luxurious 5-star spots around the world, Jumeriah Group's new hotel in Mauritius is currently under development and expected to open in 2018.

Designed by world-renowned architects, the hotel will be set on 68.5 hectares of land and located approximately 50km from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.

Jumeirah said the spacious property will include all-day dining and specialty restaurants, lounge and poolside eateries, meeting and events space, spa facilities, a swimming pool, health club, children's facilities and a teen club.
