Dubai's Burj Al Arab helipad to host Dhs10,000 dinner

On March 13, one of the world's most iconic hotel's, the Burj Al Arab, will host the grand finale of the inaugural Dubai Food Festival, an exclusive 12 guest, fine-dining experience on the hotel's helipad.
The cost of one seat at the — appropriately called — 'High Table' is Dhs10,000, with the proceeds from the event hoping to reach over 120,000 children for the United Nations World Food Programme initiative, 'Eat and Feed'.
Guests at the 'High Table' dinner will experience 360-degree panoramic views of Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and the World Islands and a gastronomic seven-course meal created by Burj Al Arab's Executive Chef, Maxime Luvara.
A spokesman from the Burj Al Arab said: "People within Dubai have known for a long time what fantastic culinary experiences are available here. We are thrilled to back the Dubai Food Festival with this unique dining experience and contribute to Dubai's position as a hub for culinary expertise. The United Nations World Food Programme is a great cause and to know that the proceeds from this evening are going to provide food to 120,000 children is truly rewarding."
