Bill Gates answers Mark Zukerberg's 'Ice Bucket Challenge' with nifty contraption
Another one bites the dust
Yesterday, instead of pouring a bucket of water on himself – like the other celebrities before him – in true Bill Gates fashion, the Microsoft founder designed a clever contraption to drop the water on him instead.
"I'm glad to give to ALS, it's a great cause," he says in the video. "But I want to accept this challenge, I want to do it better than it's been done. I've been working on this ... got this design ..."
In the video, the 58-year-old is seen sketching the ideal drenching design, testing a small wooden and paper model before doing the real thing in slow motion.
Gates also nominated Elon Musk, Ryan Seacrest and Chris Anderson as the next contenders for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
