After acquiring Beats Music in May 2014, reports have surfaced that Apple will soon debut its new music streaming service

Rumours have been circulating for some time now that Apple has big ambitions to takeover the music industry. Following its acquisition of Beats Music last May, the tech giant is said to be planning a music streaming service launch – slated for June 2015.

Said to be an overhaul of Beats Music with iTunes branding and close integration with the Apple ecosystem, the new service is said to be debuting Beats Music-esque recommendation and personalisation tools. Insiders have said that the streaming service will be available on various platforms, including the web and Android.

According the reports, the service will be available for $7.99 – which is two dollars less than its competitors Spotify and Rdio. Buro 24/7 Middle East will keep you posted on the story as it develops...
