Anya Hindmarch collaborates with The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong
Sticky buns for tea anyone?
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong-Kong, prepares to celebrate its 10 year anniversary with a delightful partnership with British designer Anya Hindmarch. The collaboration has created a bespoke afternoon tea experience at the hotel's MO Bar ,which combines the quirky spirit of Anya Hindmarch's new Sticker Shop collection, turning the accessories into delectably edible sweet treats.
"Drawing inspiration from Anya Hindmarch's Spring Summer 2015 collection, MO Bar's culinary team has crafted a very British and oh-so delicious version of Sticker Shop. Keeping the essence of the collection's playfulness, creations such as traditional Parkin & White Chocolate resembling Anya Hindmarch's signature Bathurst bag; a Cherry Mini Cupcake carrying a "Slip it to Me" speech bubble of the fashion collection and a "Have a Nice Tea" Creamy Black Berry Jelly garnished with the iconic happy smiley face of Anya Hindmarch as well as savouries such as Turkey Stuffing and Cranberry Cracker, and Smoked Scottish Salmon Bag will bring smiles to the guests", said Benjamin Brial, Executive Sous Chef of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.
Hindmarch's recent collections, which inspired the pop up 'Mini-Mart' in London's Mayfair last year, have seen the label spring a new kitsch direction, which lends itself perfectly to the frivolous tea-party celebration, which is both quirky and luxurious in equal measure.
The collaboration also features a signature limited package stay at the hotel. Anya Hindmarch Bespoke for The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong allows the first 20 VIPs booking Suite Temptations online to create their own unique Anya Hindmarch Bespoke Two Way Journal upon checking in to the hotel, which will be personally delivered on completion. The package includes a complimentary fourth night when three nights are booked, a spa credit, a special VIP amenity and complimentary breakfast for two people.
