For sale: America's most expensive home for $195 million
Located in the lush landscape of Beverly Hills
The palatial Beverly Hills-located home has been a nearly eight-year project to real-estate investor Jeff Greene, who is now listing the 'Palazzo di Amore' for $195 million – making it one of the most expensive homes in America.
Set in the beautiful Los Angeles hills, the 25-acre compound includes around 53,000 square feet of living space, 12 bedrooms and a staggering 23 bathrooms.
The house even features a long driveway, which runs by a vineyard, before reaching the main 35,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style villa.
Inside the mansion lies a 15,000 square-foot entertainment centre which is equipped with a bowling alley, a cinema room that seats 50 people, a dressing room, a disco with a rotating dance floor, a Turkish-style spa and reflecting pool.
Greene estimated he spent $25 million to finish the home, saying that the property has been rented over the years, mostly to Saudi royalty – it was listed for rent in September at $475,000 a month.
